About The Job

As a Buying Support Specialist, your daily responsibilities will center around the procurement aspect of the supply chain. You will efficiently address capacity planning challenges within different segments of the process, taking charge of operational planning to ensure timely and high-quality goods arrival. Additionally, you will oversee various administrative and logistical procedures related to warehouse operations, collaborating closely with the Commercial and Financial departments to ensure the highest level of quality and service to all partners.

Your tasks include:

  • Engaging with diverse suppliers for clear communication and fast deliveries
  • Navigating through various tasks, serving as a vital link between internal and external stakeholders
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects on the purchasing side of the supply chain
  • Maintaining a proactive approach, constantly seeking areas for improvement
  • Demonstrating agility in anticipating and responding to changes, making informed decisions
  • Collaborating with colleagues on projects while enjoying a great view from the office

Your Qualities

Key requirements for this role:

  • Residing in The Netherlands
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • 1-5 years of experience in Supply Chain or related fields
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus (such as Dutch)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with software and WMS systems is a bonus
  • Hands-on, proactive and accurate approach
  • Ability to remain composed in the face of obstacles and challenging circumstances
  • Enjoys taking on substantial freedom and responsibility, and thrives on collaborative teamwork
