My client provides a wide range of brokerage services to prime existing issuers within the public and corporate sectors. They focus mainly on several niches in the global Fixed Income Markets. Besides regular bonds and loans my client also trades in a specific German loan format. This format is called “Schuldscheindarlehen”. They are looking for a motivated candidate that can broaden their network of clients in this specific area.
Due to the expansion of my client’s company, they are looking for a motivated Junior Fixed Income Broker. This position asks you to construct portfolio of clients that are active in the “Schuldschein” market, build sturdy relationships with these clients and assist them by providing liquidity in the secondary “Schuldschein” market, and starting and carrying out transactions between buyers and sellers in “Schuldschein” loans. You have to keep an eye on the “Schuldschein” market so you can keep track of the trends and developments that are happening. Besides that you also have to generate new and innovative trading ideas. Making your work vary from day to day.
You are fluent in German and English with a Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, or something similar. You preferably have several years of experience in a sales or commercially driven role. You can work in Excel, Word & Powerpoint (Bloomberg preferred). You are a team player that is confident and articulate with the ability to thrive under pressure. You are willing to relocate or live in Amsterdam with a willingness to travel abroad to visit clients.
