My client has been operating within the automotive sector for over 20 years. This energetic and entrepreneurial organisation is a roaring success in the new and nearly-new automotive market. They have a motivated team that consists of around 50 people. The culture is very casual of nature with lots of passion mixed into it.
Due to the growth of my client’s company, they are looking for a motivated Area Manager for: Hungary, Romania and Serbia/Bosnia/Bulgaria/Croatia. On a day to day basis you are working on expanding your supplier network by building strong relationships. You are not hesitant to pick up the phone and reach out to new contacts. You will be looking for new deals all day long and you will negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best deal conditions. With this you want to create new and innovative local buying structures to secure a steady inflow of cars. Besides that you will visit new and existing suppliers every quarter to strengthen your relationship. You will also gather information about the market from all angles.
You at least have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have experience in the automotive industry on dealer, importer or rental level. Having an existing network in the local market is an advantage. You are confident and determined, a fast learner and self-starting, you like taking initiative and you’re result oriented. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and you can work well together with your colleagues as a team. You master the English language in both word and writing. Because you are also operating in an international market, you have to be proficient in one of these languages: Hungarian, Romanian, Serbian, Bosnian, Bulgarian or Croatian. You are based in de Randstad in The Netherlands.
