About The Job
As a Delphi Developer you fulfill an important role in this organization. You build very complex sets of applications, are responsible for the (further) development and maintenance of the mainstream TMS application and work on different projects. You lead the way in the company’s technology and also get the chance to develop yourself.
Your workday can look like this for example:
In the morning you start with a nice coffee and chat with your colleagues. Everyday there’s a digital standup with the team. You can share your plans for the day and discuss short and long term projects and solutions. After the meeting, it’s time to write some code.
In the afternoon, you lunch and walk around the neighborhood with the team, finish your other tasks for the day and contact your colleagues from the development team via Discord. You’re done! Time to go out and enjoy your evening.
Your Qualities
Our client creates standard software for their end users. So it’s important that you are a flexible developer with experience in Delphi. Experience with other languages (like Typescript) is a big plus. You always keep up with new techniques and are therefore able to translate the questions of clients into new functionalities within the company’s application. Besides that, you would like to have freedom in your work, challenge and develop yourself and be the very best you can be.
In short, for this Delphi Developer job you have:
- At least 3 years experience with Delphi
- Knowledge of front-end
- Good reading and writing skills in English (Dutch is not mandatory)
- Knowledge of SRP/SoC and automatic testing
- An opinion on patterns and conventions
- A passion for new technologies and developments in the world
- Motivation, positive and fun attitude and lots of energy
